Stephen Hardy Gordon

Stephen H. Gordon was born and raised in the Houston and San Antonio areas of Texas. He earned a degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He went on to St. Mary's University School of Law, where he won several academic prizes and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He refined his research and writing abilities as a Staff Writer and subsequently as a member of the Editorial Board of the St. Mary's Law Journal while at St. Mary's. During his second year, his essay on international law was chosen for publication in the legal magazine.

Participating in the school's Moot Court program helped Mr. Gordon hone his persuasive abilities. He worked as an intern at the Fourth Court of Appeals in the middle of his studies. Following graduation, he worked on different research projects with many attorneys, assisting in preparing motions and appellate briefs. He then started his practice, focusing primarily on family and criminal law before expanding into the realms of personal injury, wills and estates, and bankruptcy. He is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all Texas courts and the Western District of Texas federal courts.
